Chuck E. Cheese was not Kurt’s first choice when he and Blaine had planned for Tracey’s sixth birthday. Kurt felt like he was in the middle of one of his nightmares, but this one was way worse. Patti Lupone never publishing her book couldn’t compare to this.
Here he was in the middle of Chuck E. Cheese, watching children of all ages running around while screaming at the top of their lungs, and the worst part was: all of their parents were not even watching them. Was he in some alternate universe where The Hunger Games 2.0 was a thing and he was in the middle of it? It didn’t help when Blaine was standing right next to him, looking more excited about being here than any of the kids did. “This place is so amazing,” Blaine shouted, boosting Tracey up higher on his hip, lips forming into a thrilled smile when he asks, “Not as bad as you thought, huh?”
